Ek banda ne gunah kiya aur us ne kaha

Abdulla Ali bin Hamad ne mujhe hadees bayan ki, unhon ne kaha : hamein Hamad bin Salma ne ashq bin abdullah bin abi Talah se hadees sunai, unhon ne Abdul Rahman bin abi umra se, unhon ne hazrat abu-hurera razi Allah anho se aur unhon ne Nabi (ﷺ)  se riwayat ki ke Aap (ﷺ)  –apne rab azzwajal se naqal karte hue farmaya :" " aik bande ne gunah kiya, us ne kaha :اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي ‏
Aye Allah ! mera gunah bakhash day, to ( Allah ) Tabarak o taala ne farmaya : mere bande ne gunah kya hai, is ko pata hai ke is ka rab hai jo gunah maaf bhi karta hai aur gunah par girift bhi karta hai, is bande ne phir gunah kya to kaha :  :اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي ‏
mere rab! mera gunah bakhash day, to ( Allah ) Tabarak o taala ne farmaya : mera bandah hai, is ne gunah kya hai to usay maloom hai ke is ka rab hai jo gunah bakhash deta hai aur ( chahay to ) gunah par pokarta hai. is bande ne phir se wohi kya, gunah kya aur kaha : :اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي
mere rab! mere liye mera gunah bakhash day, to ( Allah ) Tabarak o taala ne farmaya : mere bande ne gunah kya to usay maloom hai ke is ka rab hai jo gunah bakhshta hai aur ( chahay to ) gunah par pakar laita hai, ( mere bande! ab to ) jo chahay kar, mein ne tujhe bakhash diya hai." " Abdulla Ali ne kaha : mujhe ( poori terhan ) maloom nahi ke Aap (ﷺ) ne teesri baar farmaya ya chothi baar :" " jo chahay kar." "

Abu Huraira reported from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) that his Lord, the Exalted and Glorious, thus said. A servant committed a sin and he said:
O Allah, forgive me my sins, and Allah (the Exalted and Glorious) said: My servant commited a sin and then he came to realise that he has a Lord Who forgives the sins and takes to account (the sinner) for the sin. He then again committed a sin and said: My Lord, forgive me my sin, and Allah, the Exalted and High, said: My servant committed a sin and then came to realise that he has a Lord Who would forgive his sin or would take (him) to account for the sin. He again committed a sin and said: My Lord, forgive me for my sin, and Allah (the Exalted and High) said: My servant sas committed a sin and then came to realise that he has a Lord Who forgives the sins or takes (him) to account for sin. O servant, do what you like. I have granted you forgiveness. 'Abd al-A'la said: I do not know whether he said thrice or four times to do" what you desire".

عبدالاعلیٰ بن حماد نے مجھے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : ہمیں حماد بن سلمہ نے اسحٰق بن عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ سے حدیث سنائی ، انہوں نے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی عمرہ سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور انہوں نے نبی  (ﷺ) سے روایت کی کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے رب عزوجل سے نقل کرتے ہوئے فرمایا : "" ایک بندے نے گناہ کیا ، اس نے کہا اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي : اے اللہ! میرا گناہ بخش دے ، تو ( اللہ ) تبارک و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : میرے بندے نے گناہ کیا ہے ، اس کو پتہ ہے کہ اس کا رب ہے جو گناہ معاف بھی کرتا ہے اور گناہ پر گرفت بھی کرتا ہے ، اس بندے نے پھر گناہ کیا تو کہا : میرے رب! میرا گناہ بخش دے ، تو ( اللہ ) تبارک و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : میرا بندہ ہے ، اس نے گناہ کیا ہے تو اسے معلوم ہے کہ اس کا رب ہے جو گناہ بخش دیتا ہے اور ( چاہے تو ) گناہ پر پکڑتا ہے ۔ اس بندے نے پھر سے وہی کیا ، گناہ کیا اور کہا : میرے رب! میرے لیے میرا گناہ بخش دے ، تو ( اللہ ) تبارک و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : میرے بندے نے گناہ کیا تو اسے معلوم ہے کہ اس کا رب ہے جو گناہ بخشتا ہے اور ( چاہے تو ) گناہ پر پکڑ لیتا ہے ، ( میرے بندے! اب تو ) جو چاہے کر ، میں نے تجھے بخش دیا ہے ۔ "" عبدالاعلیٰ نے کہا : مجھے ( پوری طرح ) معلوم نہیں کہ آپ  (ﷺ) نے تیسری بار فرمایا یا چوتھی بار : "" جو چاہے کر ۔ ""
