*☄BELIEF IN SUPERSTITION & EVIL OMENS IS HARAAM☄*
CLAIMING THAT IT IS UNLAWFUL TO EAT ONIONS🌰 AT NIGHT🌑??
📜Onion in its essence is absolutely lawful for the believers to consume as food, regardless of whether they wish or choose to consume it during the day or the night. What is discouraged and prohibited is that if one eats raw or uncooked onions, one should not approach the masjids of Allah until they have thoroughly cleansed their breath, because its vile odor is repugnant not only to humans but also to the noble Angels of Allah Subhanau taa'la.📜
*❣Jabir (radiAllahu anhu) reports that the Prophet (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) said:*
*"Whoever eats garlic, onion, or leek should not come close to our masjid for the Angels are harmed by what harms the children of Adam."❣*
📚(Related by Bukhari and Muslim)
*❣Narrated by Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah (radiAllahu anhu):*
*The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) disliked these two plants (i.e. garlic and onions), and he (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) said:*
*‘He who eats them should not come near our masjid. If it is necessary to eat them, make them (their odor) dead by cooking them.’❣*
📚(Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 3818)
*❣Narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah Radi Allahu anhu)*
*The Prophet (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) said,*
*"Whoever eats garlic or onion should keep away from our masjid." Jabir bin 'Abdullah (radiAllahu anhu) said, "Once a big pot containing cooked vegetables was brought. On finding unpleasant smell coming from it, the Prophet (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) asked, 'What is in it?' He (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) was told all the names of the vegetables that were in it. The Prophet (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) ordered that it should be brought near to some of his companions who were with him. When the Prophet saw it he disliked to eat it and said to his companions, '(You may) Eat. (I don't eat it) for I converse with those whom you don't converse with (i.e. the Angels).'")❣*
📚(Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.814)
*And Allaah alone Knows best.*
